Local Bank Accelerates Growth with Key Executive Additions

Local Bank, founded in 2022, is continuing its rapid growth trajectory, driven in large part by the leadership of Brittany Floyd and Andy Voyles, who joined the bank in June 2025.

In just over three years since opening, Local Bank has demonstrated strong and accelerating momentum. After building a solid foundation in its first full year, the bank saw a significant surge in customer growth in 2025, opening more than 700 new accounts. That momentum has continued into 2026, with new account growth pacing nearly 75% ahead of the same period last year, a clear indicator of increasing market share and brand strength in a short period of time.

“Our growth story is especially meaningful given how recently we opened our doors,” said Scott Christoff, Chief Executive Officer. “The acceleration we are seeing today reflects not only the strength of our foundation, but the impact of the leadership Brittany and Andy have brought to the organization in a very short time.”

Brittany Floyd joined Local Bank as Executive Vice President of Marketing, Business Development, and Retail Banking, where she assumed leadership of all retail branch operations. Since joining, she has unified the bank’s marketing strategy, expanded brand presence, and strengthened business development efforts across all markets.

Brittany brings over 15 years of experience in the financial industry leading departments across human resources, marketing, business development, and retail banking initiatives. Her expertise in operational execution, team development, and strategic planning has been instrumental in aligning Local Bank’s growth with long-term organizational goals.

Floyd has also been instrumental in identifying and developing internal talent, while enhancing training programs that support scalability as the bank grows. Deeply connected to the community, she serves as Board Chair of Junior Achievement of Tuscaloosa County, reinforcing Local Bank’s commitment to local engagement and financial education. Floyd has received recognition for her contributions and leadership, including the United in Service WAYLA (West Alabama Young Leaders Award) in 2022 and the Tuscaloosa News “Top 40 Under 40” in 2019. Reflecting on the bank’s success, Floyd said, “The growth we are seeing is a testament to the incredible team members I have the privilege of working alongside every day. Their dedication and talent make every achievement possible.” Her extensive experience in both leadership and community initiatives has helped foster strong customer relationships and a culture of service throughout the bank.

Andy Voyles joined Local Bank as President of Mortgage and has played a critical role in building structure and scalability within the bank’s mortgage division. He has worked diligently to clean up and refine processes, strengthen policies and procedures, and improve overall operational efficiency.

Voyles brings over 25 years of experience in residential lending and mortgage banking, with leadership roles spanning P&L management, branch development, and compliance oversight. His expertise strengthens Local Bank’s ability to scale operations while delivering exceptional client service.

Under his leadership, the mortgage division is not only more streamlined but also positioned for growth through expansion into new markets, including Brentwood, Tennessee. Voyles has also successfully attracted experienced talent, further strengthening the bank’s ability to compete and grow in the mortgage space.

“The success we’re seeing in our mortgage division reflects the dedication of an amazing team. By refining processes and supporting our people, we’re positioned to grow responsibly while delivering the best experience for our customers,” said Voyles.

“Brittany and Andy have elevated every area they touch,” added Christoff. “From retail and marketing to mortgage and operations, their leadership is directly contributing to the accelerated growth we are experiencing today.” As a relatively new institution, Local Bank’s ability to achieve this level of growth so quickly highlights both strong leadership and a clear strategic vision—positioning the bank for continued expansion in the years ahead.
